Who’s it for?

It’s for you if you’ve taken on one of these roles in your marriage.

The Sleuth

You suspect your spouse is lying or hiding, but haven’t found evidence to prove they’re guilty of sexual sin. You secretly scour their emails, credit card receipts, or text messages looking for clues. Catching them has become an obsession.

The Paralytic

You’re emotionally paralyzed. You know your spouse has committed adultery or watches porn. You’ve ignored it, letting it eat away at your conscience hoping it’ll go away on it’s own, or you simply have no idea what to do or where to start.

The Captive

You and your spouse have been in recovery or you’ve been separated for months or years with little contact. You feel like you’re hanging in limbo, a prisoner to their bad choices. You want to believe your marriage can be healed but your faith is wearing thin.

You’ve known or suspected your spouse of having an affair or an addiction to pornography. You’ve been paralyzed and isolated by fear, shame, or grief. It’s time to start your journey toward hope and healing.

How long does it take to complete the program?

As long as you need. While recovery is a difficult and challenging process, it is also as individual as you are. Much depends on where you start your recovery, how well you know yourself, your Bible literacy, and how quickly you are ready to change old patterns of thinking (Romans 12:2).

It is recommended you take at least 2-3 days to complete each lesson including the video, assignment, and exploration of the supplementary resources. Some lessons will take longer. Others you will want to repeat several times.

How often do I receive my course modules?

From the course dashboard, you will have access to the first two modules when you register. Thereafter, and to help you stay on course, you will receive access to one additional module including all the lessons and the corresponding Self-Care lesson every 10-14 days.

How long can I access the program?

You will have 24/7 unlimited lifetime access to all the course materials including module videos, assignments, supplementary resources, and the online community, as well as any new material that’s added.

Do I have to be a Christian or know the Bible to benefit from the program?

You do not need to be a Bible scholar prior to beginning this program, however, some Bible knowledge will be helpful. If you do have Biblical relationship with God, the lessons will dramatically improve your intimacy with Him.

If you do not have a Biblical faith, the program will nurture your understanding of the scriptures and open your eyes to God’s infinite love and compassion (Romans 10:17).

Is this program only for women?

No. While the majority of spouses committing adultery or addicted to pornography are men, the numbers of women are growing. That means more and more husbands (men) will find themselves working through their own betrayal recovery.

How private is the online community?

It’s a private and confidential as you want it to be. You can use whatever username or avatar you like. Nobody but the administrators can view your name or email address without your permission. I am very serious about protecting your privacy and your confidential information (1 John 2:5).

What if my spouse is abusive?

Please note this program is designed for difficult marriages, not dangerous ones. If you are in an environment that is not safe, we encourage you to seek help as your safety is of primary importance. In the US, we recommend you contact the National Domestic Violence Violence Hotline as soon as possible. There are two ways:

  • Call 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) and talk to a trained advocate available 24/7/365
  • Live Chat 24/7/365

or outside the US, find a local domestic abuse help agency near you.

There is so much wisdom and knowledge to absorb in this program. God used it to help me uncover and safely surrender my pain to him so I could experience freedom and healing. I feel confident knowing I now have a better idea of what God wants for me and where I am headed. I no longer feel like I’m walking in the dark.

I didn’t know such a resource existed that gathers all this information in one place. The most valuable part of this program for me is the how Kim uses the Bible to support the entire recovery journey. I felt understood, not only by God, but by Kim. It was like taking my journey with God on one side and a friend on the other.

Leti M.

As a wife who discovered her husband’s sexual sin 35 years into my marriage, I highly recommend this program. Kim has developed an insightful and powerful resource for anyone who has experienced the effects of betrayal trauma from a spouse’s unfaithfulness, whether through an affair, prostitution, or pornography and masturbation.
